Job Description:
This role is responsible for guiding public bodies through the COV Ramp process, specifically assisting with Cloud and SaaS contract negotiations to meet IT and Cloud-hosted needs. The position involves reviewing and revising IT solicitations and contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and security standards, negotiating Cloud terms and conditions with suppliers, and providing guidance to mitigate risks.

The position involves reviewing and revising IT solicitations and contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, and security standards, negotiating Cloud terms and conditions with suppliers, and providing guidance to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and revise Cloud/SaaS solicitations and contracts for compliance with policies and standards.
Negotiate Cloud contract terms and resolve complex contract issues.
Propose alternate language for vendor terms and service level agreements.
Track Cloud term requests and submit weekly metrics to leadership.
Develop or revise Cloud process documentation and participate in IT procurement training.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal teams as needed.
Required Skills:
5 years of experience in IT procurement and contracting, specifically Cloud/SaaS.
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Experience with various contract types and procurement methods.
Excellent organization, time management, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Highly Desired:
Experience in state or local government procurement.
Knowledge of procurement laws and IT security policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Public Administration.
