Duties
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscaping and grounds maintenance technicians on daily tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards are met
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, equipment, and crew members to job sites across construction projects
- Perform lawn care, landscape maintenance, planting, pruning, and gardening activities with precision and attention to detail
- Identify various plants and horticultural elements to ensure proper care and maintenance practices are followed
- Maintain all grounds maintenance equipment and tools in excellent working condition while adhering to safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscaping, horticulture, and grounds maintenance with outdoor work expertise
- Strong supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and coordinate crew members effectively
- Knowledge of irrigation management and irrigation systems installation and repair
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hardscape tools safely
- Skilled in plant identification, gardening techniques, and landscape design principles
- Experience working on construction projects or similar outdoor environments
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly; experience with company vehicle operation is preferred
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, safety awareness, and high performance in outdoor settings
