Duties
- Set up and operate Direct To Garment printers, ensuring optimal calibration and print quality for each order
- Prepare garments by inspecting fabric, loading materials, and aligning designs accurately on the printing platform
- Maintain and troubleshoot digital printing equipment, including CNC machines, sewing machines, and power tools to prevent downtime
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery such as calipers, woodworking tools, and fabrication equipment to ensure peak performance
- Assist in fabricating garment components using woodworking, machining, or assembly techniques as needed
- Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process to verify color accuracy, registration, and overall print fidelity
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the warehouse environment while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and equipment handling
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of digital printing machinery, CNC equipment, sewing machines, and hand tools
- Experience with fabricating or constructing garments using woodworking, millwork, or assembly techniques
- Proficiency with calipers for precise measurements and fabric cutting accuracy
- Ability to operate forklifts safely within warehouse settings for material handling
- Skilled in sewing, garment construction, and the use of sewing machines for finishing touches
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, and heavy lifting procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety standards in a fast-paced environment
