Job Overview
We are a small local business who partners with a multi-million dollar international manufacturer in the Medical Device industry. We handle the repairs of DME equipment (Oxygen Concentrators) and after market parts sales for these units. We are looking for a hard working individual to join our team. This role's primary responsibility will be as a team member in our repairs department. In addition, the role will occasionally be asked to assist with other operational needs. The ideal candidate for this job is someone who is hard working, willing to learn, and can work on a team as well as individually. No previous experience is necessary, however, knowledge of basic hand and power tools will be of great benefit. Training will be provided upon successful employment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot defective units.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on defective units in a timely and organized manner.
- Perform post repair performance testing on units to ensure quality of repairs.
- Document repair information and testing information accurately and neatly.
- Work together with other techs and managers to ensure repairs and projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist in other operational assignments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Organized and procedural mindset, the nature of our work demands accuracy.
- Neat and legible hand writing.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools confidently. (tools provided)
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to digest training and put it to use.
- Good communication skills in order to work well with the rest of the team.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in an environment that requires efficiency.
- Prior experience in equipment repair or maintenance is highly preferred but not required

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
