Senior C Software Engineer
Summary
- Design and develop high-performance backend software for company Wearables Interfaces Group.
- Build and optimize distributed systems with a strong focus on scalability and backend architecture.
- Develop production-quality C code using asynchronous programming techniques and advanced memory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams while delivering against daily technical milestones.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to scalable system design and implementation.
Must-Have Skills
- 10 years of Software Engineering experience (7 years may be considered with strong preferred skills).
- Expert-level C development.
- Strong understanding of Distributed Systems.
- Experience with backend system architecture.
- Knowledge of horizontal scaling and scalable system design.
- Experience with asynchronous programming.
- Strong understanding of C pointers and memory management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid software engineering background (lack of one is an immediate disqualifier).
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Experience building similar systems at competitors such as Amazon Alexa or comparable organizations.
