Key Points:
- This position will be primarily based out of the office in the northern Denver area (80504), with occasional travel around the greater Denver area as needed (~25%)
- General IT support and troubleshooting skills are required, as well as some familiarity with basic networking and server equipment.
- Strong customer service skills are critical.
Overview:
Responsible for providing technical support to the IT end-users across all levels in the organization. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to earn the trust of people at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT Field Services support for multiple locations in the DJ Basin area, as needed.
- Support end-user hardware, laptops, workstations, printers, conference rooms, control rooms, and AV equipment.
- Support and troubleshoot wireless and network infrastructure at field offices and operational locations
- Assist with field-level server and infrastructure support, including troubleshooting and coordination with server and network teams
- Create, update, and manage support tickets and assist with escalated incidents requiring onsite field support
- Support the Service Desk and other IT teams with issues requiring local hands-on assistance
- Assist with site deployments, equipment installations, technology upgrades, and other field IT projects
- Coordinate with vendors and other IT teams to resolve issues and complete projects
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed to support critical field operations.
- Provide remote support to other regions with occasional travel to field sites within the Denver area, as needed
Qualifications:
Must Have:
- General IT support experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with various end-user hardware, laptops, workstations, printers, and AV equipment
- Comfortable supporting end users in various settings
- Some exposure/familiarity with networking and servers
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- Strong troubleshooting mindset
Preferred:
- Networking experience
- Server experience
- Experience troubleshooting network equipment
- Experience providing support to end-users in a non-corporate setting
- Exposure to field/industrial IT environments
- Hands-on experience with hardware and infrastructure
