Reports to: Tier 1 SCADA Support Manager (Birmingham)
SCADA Analysts will be responsible for first level customer support and technical support of Cygnet SCADA Systems for all Diversified Production Systems and Midstream Pipeline Systems. The support of the Cygnet SCADA Systems consists of collecting, managing, distributing, and maintaining the integrity of the data related to field automation devices (RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, and DCSs), control systems (Cygnet SCADA), and business systems (Inertia, FlowCal, Grafana, and others). SCADA Analysts will need to demonstrate aptitude and skills related to technical troubleshooting and customer service.
Primary duties will be:
- Learning through hands-on training, peer interaction, and online resources to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cygnet SCADA Systems and other related systems.
- Support the day-to-day activities of SCADA Systems, SCADA Customers, and the SCADA Teams.
- Work closely with field I&E personnel to ensure SCADA Systems are stable, responsive, and able to support business needs.
- Understand and support company Cybersecurity standards.
- Configure and maintain EFM data collection in Cygnet and FMS for export to FlowCal.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation – shared amongst the support team.
- Any other job-related duty as deemed appropriate by management.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology/Systems required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred. Proficient with Microsoft software package and advanced computer skills (programming, database, networks). Strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate both written and verbal. Work in this position is primarily based in an office where there is no exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures which is well-lit and relatively free from dangerous working conditions.
