Inspiring Healing Minds is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing outpatient mental health practice in Maryland as a 1099 independent contractor.

Compensation
- $110 per psychiatric evaluation (new patient intake)
- $85 per medication management follow-up visit
Consistent referral flow available to support caseload development.
Opportunities available to provide additional clinical hours as caseload grows.
Compensation is based on completed sessions.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose mental health conditions using DSM criteria
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Monitor medication effectiveness and side effects
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide brief psychotherapy when clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with therapists and other providers
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Follow Maryland prescribing and nursing regulations
Requirements
- Active Maryland Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certification as a PMHNP
- DEA registration (if prescribing controlled substances)
- Maryland CDS registration
- Professional liability insurance
- Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
- Strong clinical documentation skills
- Telehealth experience preferred
Credentialing with Medicaid and commercial insurance panels preferred (or willingness to credential).
