Inspiring Faith Home Care Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide high-quality, client-centered care to elderly and disabled individuals in home and community-based settings. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed
- Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper safety techniques
- Provide medication reminders according to care plans (no medication administration)
- Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment through light housekeeping
- Support clients with dementia or memory-related conditions using individualized care strategies
- Promote client dignity, independence, and comfort at all times
- Follow all safety guidelines and agency policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or caregiving preferred (training available)
- Knowledge of ADL assistance and basic dementia or memory care practices
- Ability to perform personal care tasks with compassion and professionalism
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks such as lifting or transferring clients
- Reliable, patient, empathetic, and committed to quality care
- Ability to pass a Mississippi background check
