This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence within a supportive environment. Prior experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Observe and document patient behavior progress through accurate record-keeping.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and community involvement.
- Follow all safety procedures including CPR, first aid, and other relevant certifications to ensure resident safety at all times
Skills
- Experience in group home settings, assisted living, or long-term care environments preferred.
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and patient safety assessment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members
