About the Role
As a Case Manager, you will play a key role in supporting children and families throughout their treatment journey. You will help create a stable therapeutic environment, provide behavioral health support, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to whole-child wellness.
What You Will Do
- Provide direct supervision and behavioral support to children in treatment
- Help implement individualized treatment plans in a structured, therapeutic setting
- Monitor and document behavior, participation, and daily progress
- Support daily living needs including hygiene and meals
- Lead structured therapeutic and social-emotional group activities
- Use trauma-informed strategies to de-escalate and respond to crises
- Escort children to sessions and appointments as needed
- Communicate with therapists, medical staff, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
- Serve as a liaison for families navigating mental health, school, legal, and community systems
- Participate in treatment planning, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination
- Maintain accurate documentation, case notes, and service logs
- Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and child welfare standards
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in behavioral health, youth services, residential treatment, or related settings (6–12 months preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a safe, structured environment for children
- Experience with crisis de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches
- Organized, reliable, and timely with documentation
- Ability to build trust with children and families of diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality
- CPR certification preferred
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Where and When You’ll Work
This is an on-site role with a consistent weekday schedule designed to support stability, teamwork, and strong relationships with the children and families we serve.
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
