We would love to have a student teacher or teacher looking for hire during summer to fill in this role.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement some age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth when not on field trips
- Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise during camp hours
- Maintain organized records of attendance, activities, and incident reports to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured yet fun learning environment
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones
- Experience with appropriate credentials is required (lead School-ager qualifications)
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members.
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
