Salary: $23-$25 per hourLocation: This position serves clients throughout Alameda County. The role is not limited to San Leandro only.Schedule: Flexible, Day Schedule - must be able to complete hours between 8:30am and 6pm.At Inspired Living, we believe in more than just supportwe believe in empowerment. As an Independent Living Instructor, youll work one-on-one with clients in their homes and communitieshelping them master essential life skills like personal care, health maintenance, social engagement, money management, and more.What You'll Do: Build strong, respectful relationships with clients Teach everyday life skills with patience, care, and cultural sensitivity Support clients with appointments, social events, errands, and community access including providing transportation when needed Champion independence, empowerment, and self-advocacy Keep clear, timely records and collaborate with a supportive team Be part of a mission that truly mattersWhat You Bring: A heart for service and a passion for helping others grow At least 6 months of experience in human services or supporting people with disabilities Strong communication and organization skills Fluency in English or Spanish (bilingual preferred) High school diploma or GEDMust Haves: Valid CA drivers license, reliable & insured vehicle, and clean driving record Willingness to drive clients to medical appointments, social outings, and other essential activities Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (if not already certified) Ability to pass a background checkWhy Join Us?At Inspired Living, every day is an opportunity to uplift, empower, and celebrate human potential.
