What are the responsibilities and job description for the SA Nurses Home Health Scheduler and Intake Coordinator position at Inspired Homecare?
At San Antonio Nurses Home Health Care, an affiliate of Inspired Homecare, a multi-state homecare network we are looking for a Scheduler/Intake Coordinator, with a working background in healthcare, previous home health experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- Fantastic communication skills and excellent computer skills
- Typing skills at 40 wpm
- Experience working with Wellsky/Kinnser preferred
- Bilingual preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assign client visits to direct care staff, assist with changes in staff schedules and reassign clients appropriately
- Process appropriate employee updates, Client-related Tasks and Coordination Notes in Point of Care system. Runs daily reports, checks orders and follows up as needed
- Provide general administrative support, answering phones, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies....
- May be asked to work after "work" hours and weekend on-call
- Filing/scanning and completing patient files
- Inputting referral documentation in EMR system
- Follow all Medicare and Hippa Regulations and requirements
- obtain document detailed referral information from all sources (electronic, fax, email) and enter into EMR
- Welcome Calls and documentation
- Other Duties as assisgned
