Patient Service Representative (Full-Time)
Our office is seeking a motivated, team-oriented individual to join our practice as a Patient Services Representative . The ideal candidate will provide exceptional front office and reception services while creating a welcoming, caring, and professional experience for our patients. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-call-volume medical office and can efficiently multitask while maintaining excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet patients and check them in and out
- Distribute and collect patient forms
- Verify insurance information and collect copayments
- Schedule appointments and diagnostic testing
- Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Provide administrative and general office support to the clinical team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of medical office experience required
- Required experience with Medent electronic medical records
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-call-volume medical office
- Strong computer proficiency and typing skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain organized under pressure
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and a positive team player
