What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/ Autism Technician position at Inspired Child ABA?
About Us:
Inspired Child ABA provides high-quality, in-home ABA therapy services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We’re a mission-driven team dedicated to helping children gain independence, communication, and social skills through play-based and individualized instruction.
We are currently hiring passionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. If you’re not already a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), we’ll cover the cost of your training and certification!
Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with children with ASD in their home environment, and the community as needed
- Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA
- Use play and structured teaching to help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills
- Observe and implement all components of treatment protocols and respond to changes made by the supervising BCBA
- Collect data and document each session, including objective summaries of progress and behavior
- Maintain ethical standards in accordance with BACB guidelines
- Support ongoing training for parents or caregivers, as directed by the BCBA
- Comply with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality (training provided)
- Communicate effectively with supervising BCBAs and families
- Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training and development
- Prepare materials and activities as needed
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- Clear background check
- Reliable transportation to and from client homes
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (we’ll cover the cost)
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- RBT certification preferred but not required — we provide full training and cover certification costs!

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
