This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor/Social Media Specialist based in Houston, TX. The individual in this role will be responsible for creating, editing, and enhancing video productions, including color grading and motion graphics. The candidate will also be tasked with managing and curating social media content, ensuring alignment with the organizational mission, and increasing audience engagement.
- Strong skills and experience in Video Production and Video Editing, including proficiency with editing software
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics to produce visually compelling content
- Basic to advanced knowledge of Graphics, with the ability to create visuals that enhance video and social media content
- Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and strategies for effective audience engagement
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to collaborate with a team and contribute creative ideas
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations is a plus
