What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatrics position at Inspire Therapy?

Our Speech-Language Pathologist's responsibilities include:
- Conduct speech/language, augmentative communication, and oral motor assessments, re-assessments and make recommendations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to need.
- Develop an individualized plan of care including objective, measurable goals for speech and language outcome targets
- Complete all required documentation utilizing electronic records system in a timely manner, including but not limited to daily session notes, evaluation reports, progress notes, and discharge notes.
- Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary leadership team, collaborating for comprehensive treatment planning and ongoing quality of care improvement for Inspire clients and their families
- Participate in client treatment team meetings as necessary
- Effectively communicate with and provide guidance to clients, families, and all staff members (including our ABA team)
- Participate in staff training/ in-service days
- Abide by Inspire’s policies and procedures guidelines
Requirements:
- Must possess a current Kansas Speech-Language Pathology license or be eligible for licensure from KSDADS as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Current license to practice in the state of Kansas
- Experience in early intervention practice preferred
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders
- Experience with PECS, ASL, and AAC devices
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency preferred, but not required. *Inspire staff members are qualified to complete clinical fellowship supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
