Inspire Physical Therapy is currently seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Front Office/PT Aide to join our pediatric physical therapy team. We are looking for a dedicated professional who will execute the administrative operations of the office, be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors during his/her shift and provide basic assistance to our physical therapists as they tend to our patients. Reporting to our Front Office Manager, this role will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless operation and positive experience for those who pass through our doors. Responsibilities:

• Patients-focus
• • Welcome patients and visitors warmly, both in person and over the phone, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate staff members as needed.
  • Manage appointment scheduling efficiently, ensuring timely reminders and minimizing service delays.
  • Review financial obligations with patients and process in-clinic payments promptly.

Medical Records and Systems

• • Create and manage electronic medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Register patients, conduct eligibility, and benefit checks, and collaborate closely with the billing manager.
  • Maintain meticulous records, documentation, and files to ensure accurate information management.

Practice's efficiency

• • Maintain a tidy and organized reception and other general office areas, to uphold a professional clinic environment.

Helping the Physical Therapists

• • Assist therapists with care of treatment rooms and equipment.
  • Perform general clinic maintenance (such as: trash removal, laundry distribution, etc.).
  • Teach and demonstrate exercises as per physical therapist direction.
  • Help with administer modalities: ice, heat, etc.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a medical front office setting or customer facing position.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
• Prior work experience with Stride EMR, and scheduling software, highly desirable.

Competencies:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages, with a preference for experience in communicating with children and parents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Impeccable organizational abilities with acute attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks .

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer, performing repetitive movements, lifting up to 15-pounds, as well as bending/squatting.

Schedule: PRN Monday to Friday, 3pm to 7pm. Saturday possible and encouraged.

Compensation: The expected hourly rate for this position is $17.00 to $20.00, dependent on experience, education, and availability.
