What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - part-time/PRN position at Inspire Pediatrics?
Inspire Pediatrics is an integrative and holistic concierge pediatric practice that serves the Denver metro area. We specialize in house calls, virtual support as well as functional and integrative pediatrics, and are growing a Direct Primary Care membership.
Role Description
This is a part time/PRN Concierge Pediatric Nurse Practitioner role for both direct primary care well visits, house call sick visits, as well as virtual care. Looking for a unicorn pediatric NP who is interested in eventually becoming the primary provider for DPC patients, as well as cover sick calls and virtual care on a rotating basis.
At first, we are in greatest need for sick visit and newborn visit coverage on an as needed basis, but anticipate hours and role to grow over time.
This position requires driving throughout the Denver Metro area. We primarily offer house calls and this is our biggest need for coverage, so this is just part of the job! So please do not apply if this doesn't sound great to you. If you love the idea of personal, in-home care and lots of podcasts in between, then this could be a great fit!
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for thorough patient assessments, developing and managing treatment plans, prescribing medications, educating patients and their families, as well as doing follow up care. In addition the NP will be responsible for managing patient texts and calls as needed, as well as admin tasks to help improve workflows for patient care (creating note templates, patient education, and other tasks as needed). The NP may also need to fill in for our mobile vaccine visits (giving vaccines in-home to our patients) if there is no RN coverage.
The ideal candidate will have a lot of experience in pediatrics, be comfortable with independent practice, and will take extra time and effort to provide an amazing patient experience. Many patients come to Inspire Pediatrics for a holistic approach, so comfort with alternative therapies and risk/benefit conversations are a must, although the owner will take primary responsibility for integrative health patients. Collaboration with families is a very important component of care at Inspire Pediatrics!
We do not have admin staff, so you would be responsible for scheduling patient appointments in the EMR, as well as calling prescriptions into pharmacies, and other related duties.

- Would love someone who would help Inspire Pediatrics grow!
- No new grads at this time
Compensation
This is a contract position.
Pay has the potential to grow with increased responsibility and with the continued growth of Inspire Pediatrics.
Starting base pay is $65/hr, but compensation outside of hourly tasks are compensated per visit and per day. House call sick visits are paid at $70 per house call, newborn visits are $100 per house call, and a $30 travel fee. Virtual support hours are paid at a flat rate per day, with predetermined availability for house calls as needed.
Availability
This role will be PRN and part time at first, with a goal of growing to 15-20 hours per week as the DPC volume grows. In addition we need a team player to help with all needed coverage, including weekends, we need availability 1-2 weekends per month for sick visit and/or virtual support coverage (answering texts and calls if needed). Typically sick visits are only a few per weekend (sometimes none). It is not the same as working weekends at an ER or busy office, but we do need help supporting our families when sick visits are needed, even after hours.
