Inspire Kids provides exceptional preschool special education services across Orange County, New York. Our goal is to empower children with developmental delays through high-quality education, collaboration, and family partnership.
The Senior Education Director is a key leadership role overseeing three Special Education Preschools in Goshen, Newburgh, and Monroe. This individual provides strategic direction, ensures educational excellence, and fosters collaboration across programs. Working closely with Educational Directors and Executive Leadership, the Senior Education Director ensures compliance, promotes innovation, and upholds Inspire Kids’ mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee educational programming and staff across all preschool sites.
- Ensure compliance with NYS regulations for Preschool Special Education and Medicaid in Education.
- Supervise and evaluate educational, therapeutic, and administrative staff.
- Oversee curriculum development, staff professional development, and program improvement.
- Manage school budgets, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Maintain strong communication with staff, families, and community stakeholders.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Special Education, School Administration, or related field.
- NYS Certification as a School Building Leader (SBL) or School Administrator/Supervisor (SAS).
- Minimum 3 years of experience teaching preschool children with developmental delays.
- Proficiency with electronic educational systems (e.g., IEP Direct).
- Strong knowledge of NYS preschool special education regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Flexible, collaborative, and highly motivated professional approach.
