Role Description
This is a full-time, in-home role for an Occupational Therapist based in Lincoln, NE. Responsibilities include providing personalized in-home therapy to pediatric clients, assisting in enhancing independence in self-care tasks, optimizing home environments, guiding the use of adaptive equipment, and facilitating family education. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with families to support children in achieving their rehabilitation goals and improving their participation in daily activities while minimizing exposure to potential risks or stressors.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy services, including evaluation, intervention, and therapy planning
- Strong understanding of Pediatrics and Rehabilitation principles
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and caregivers
- Compassion, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in home-based therapy environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Nebraska
