ABOUT THIS POSITION
The Medical Education - Conferences Summer Intern role will assist with the development of national trade shows, conferences, and events. The Medical Education - Conferences Summer Intern will work directly with Medical Education team members to assist with a variety of events for medical professionals. The Medical Education - Conferences Summer Intern will have the opportunity to participate in team meetings and be assigned various administrative tasks.
This is a hybrid position where you would work in the office a few times every week during the internship, so you must be in the Twin Cities for the duration of the internship.
OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE
- Assist with the development and administration tasks of a variety of conferences and trade shows
- Help to create a process for lead follow up between previous conference attendees and the Inspire sales field team
- Learn how trade shows and conferences coincide with other roles and departments at Inspire
- Increase knowledge about trade show and event planning for medical professionals
- Understanding the process of how to plan an event for medical professionals for 150-200 people
- Communicating and developing relationships with the Inspire sales field through video calls, phone calls, and email.
- Immerse into a fast-paced corporate environment where you will learn how to prioritize your work
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Working toward a four-year degree in Marketing, Health Science, Nursing, Event Planning, Business, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Stellar organizational skills
- Excellent time management, prompt and punctual
- Basic knowledge of project management and local MedTech companies
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new technical tools and applications

- Event planning
- Adaptability and resilience
- Ability to work independently
