FLOORING FIELD SUPERINTENDENT
JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage multiple jobs to ensure residential new construction sites are ready for flooring installation and confirm completion of work once completed. Perform quality checks on installations. Manage jobsites to ensure the scope of work from installation teams are running efficiently following the schedules. Work with builder field superintendents and installation teams to establish a positive working relationship. Support builders schedules. Follow up with installation teams when needed. Follow through with issue resolution daily.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with company team and Builder/Customer to achieve targeted results
- Maintain accurate documentation daily, following company standards and guidelines
- Submit paperwork for outstanding items to ensure follow through can be accomplished
- Double check field paperwork and drawings to confirm all materials are on site to complete the job 100%
- Continuously work to maintain good working relationship with builder and installation crews
- Inspect concrete floors and trade readiness on jobsites, communicate with office
- Perform QC checks on installations to ensure quality workmanship was completed
- Perform some service items when needed
- Work with vendors when needed to support issue resolution
- Ensure that all safety and OSHA regulations are communicated to installation teams and followed
- Provide warehouse support when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years knowledge of flooring industry and installations REQUIRED
- Field superintendent experience in the residential home building industry PREFERRED
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Team player and customer focused
- Must have a valid driver's license
