Responsibilities:

Provide clinical and strategic leadership for pediatric and newborn services

Oversee Level II nursery operations, including care protocols, stabilization practices, and quality metrics

Lead neonatal resuscitation and delivery room response standards for high-risk deliveries

Partner with hospital leadership, nursing, and ancillary teams to advance quality and safety initiatives

Engage in community outreach and relationship-building with referring providers
Qualifications:

MD or DO degree; Board Certified in Pediatrics

Significant clinical experience in delivery attendance, newborn stabilization and resuscitation, and newborn care

Prior leadership/medical director experience strongly preferred

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certified

Eligible for California medical licensure
