What are the responsibilities and job description for the Haitian Creole Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - West Palm Beach, Florida position at Inspire Healthcare?
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provide comprehensive, culturally competent pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents in an FQHC setting, with emphasis on preventive care, health equity, and underserved populations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver well-child, sick, and chronic disease management visits
- Perform physical exams, developmental screenings, and behavioral health assessments
- Diagnose and treat pediatric conditions; order and interpret diagnostics
- Prescribe medications and administer immunizations per CDC guidelines
- Manage chronic conditions (asthma, obesity, behavioral disorders, HIV-exposed/infected)
- Provide anticipatory guidance on nutrition, development, safety, and preventive care
- Address social determinants of health impacting families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care coordination and referrals
- Maintain EHR documentation and meet productivity and quality metrics
- Participate in quality improvement and PCMH initiatives
- Support community outreach and health education
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP)
- Current APRN license in state of practice
- DEA license and prescriptive authority
- BLS certification (PALS preferred)
- Pediatric experience; FQHC or underserved setting preferred
- Board Certification as Pediatric NP (PNP-PC or PNP-AC) preferred
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Haitian Creole)
