Duties

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that support children’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
• Supervise children during transitions, outdoor play, homework time, and structured activities to ensure safety and engagement.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and school staff to communicate progress and address individual needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with safety standards and licensing regulations.
• Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary, following proper protocols.
• Incorporate elements of special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or babysitting.
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques and childhood development principles.
• Certification in CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
• Strong skills in behavior management and working with children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
• Background in early childhood education or related fields, such as childhood development or teaching, is highly desirable.
• Ability to lead activities confidently while fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
