Duties:
Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products; Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement; Set prices or credit terms for goods or services, based on forecasts of customer demand; Develop or implement product-marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns or sales promotions; Direct administrative activities directly related to making products or providing services; Executes opening of new markets, working jointly with the new market launch team, ensuring key deliverables are planned/implemented in a timely basis as well as new franchisees/store openings are set for success; Direct or coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency; Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders to meet sales and profit objectives and achieve successful business results; Develops annual operating plan and budget in line with our bigger strategic objectives, prepares monthly/quarterly forecast updates. Reviews and summarizes business data for senior management; Oversee the planning and execution of franchisees’ development schedules (opening, closures, relocations, transfer, etc.). Ensures compliance regarding development growth in existing markets; Plan store layouts or design displays, including remodels and refurbishments; Oversee and implement environmental management or sustainability programs addressing issues such as recycling, conservation, or waste management; Recommend locations for new facilities or oversee the remodeling or renovating of current facilities; Understands and differentiate growth levers for the brands and recommends the deployment of specified levers to drive growth strategically and sustainably; Provides consultative support, leadership and franchisee alignment in the areas of marketing, business development, supply chain, finance, learning, human resources, development including but not limited to market mapping, facility transformation, store openings and store operations; Develop relationships with key decision-makers of existing partners to facilitate increased regional sales, growth, and profitability; Financial Management; Plans and manages business unit processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives; Leads RFP process and negotiations; Identifies and executes against new business development opportunities to accelerate growth and category leadership; Participates in the new franchisee selection and recruitment process working collaboratively with the Inspire Brands development team; Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide goods or services within budgetary limits; Monitors and analyzes regional and key country performance data to determine opportunities for growth of business and to provide direction on investment returns, operating efficiency, and improved customer service; Prepares, communicates, and educates client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within Inspire Brands; and Builds a high-performance team (selection, training, retain and development) and fosters a culture based on Inspire Brands values. Constantly develops, retains and elevates talent.
Requires:
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Commerce, or a related field and 10 years of experience.
Requires 10 years of experience in the following: management of a franchise sales function and direct experience in the forecast and delivery of a development plan to accomplish brand unit growth goals; marketing and advertising skills and experience in the creation of effective marketing programs.
