Inspire Academic Services is seeking a passionate and experienced Private Piano Instructor to join our growing team! We are looking for a dedicated music instructor who loves helping students of all ages and abilities discover their confidence, creativity, and joy through music.
This is a part-time, non-licensed position providing individualized piano instruction in students’ homes throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area. The ideal candidate has experience teaching both traditional and non-traditional piano lessons and can adapt instruction to meet each student’s unique goals, interests, and learning style.
- Provide engaging, individualized piano lessons for students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach foundational skills, music theory, technique, and performance skills
- Adapt lessons to support both traditional instruction and creative/non-traditional approaches
- Build positive relationships with students and families
- Communicate professionally with families regarding student progress and lesson expectations
- Maintain organized schedules and arrive prepared and punctual for lessons
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching piano lessons to students of various ages and abilities
- Experience providing both traditional and non-traditional piano instruction
- Availability for evening lessons during the workweek with the ability to maintain a reliable and consistent schedule
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, dependable, and punctual
- Passion for teaching and helping students grow their musical abilities
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area
- Ability to pass a background check
$35–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
