What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tele Sitter Monitor Tech - Central Monitoring - Mullica Hill - PT - Nights position at Inspira Health Network?
Provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. First line of action is to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors. Summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance by communication device or STAT Alert Alarm (if appropriate). Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in a patient care environment preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Certified Nurse Aide, preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Able to perform general nurse aide duties as assigned including, personal care needs.
- Knowledge of recording patient input and output etc.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Knowledgeable and supportive of patient and institutional confidentiality and related hospital policies.
