What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Program Manager - Quality & Patient Safety - IMC position at Inspira Health Network?
MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Quality Manager promotes and contributes to the advancement of quality clinical care administered to patients at Inspira Health. Working in conjunction with system wide departments and physician leadership, this position provides expertise in the most current healthcare quality measures, concepts, data collection, data reporting tools, data analysis, regulatory requirements, peer review and performance improvement. Monitor and audit external abstraction services. This integral position provides pivotal communication to key stakeholders on quality improvement opportunities and clinical best practices across the system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other healthcare related field
- 3-5 years clinical healthcare experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in Healthcare Quality and Peer review
- Microsoft Office 365-Excel, Power point, Word, Teams, Outlook
- Other applications Premier, RL Datix, Medhost, Cerner, Epic, etc.
- Knowledge of Physician Peer Review process
- Knowledge of Clinical Quality Programs
- Knowledge of Basic Data Abstraction
Certification/ Licensure:
- Clinical Specialty preferred.
- CPHQ preferred.
- Registered Nurse NJ required.
