This hands-on role is critical in moving products efficiently through manufacturing, finishing, packing, staging, and shipment while maintaining exceptional quality standards. To thrive/succeed as the Production Associate, you should have:
- Minimum five years of manufacturing or production experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn and operate production machinery
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Experience with ERP, inventory, production, or shipping systems preferred
- Forklift experience or certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
- Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety procedures
Your responsibilities as the Production Associate will include:
- Participate in production processes including wicking, pouring, wick straightening, heat tunnel operations, lidding, and fragrance mixing
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment while troubleshooting basic equipment issues
- Monitor production schedules and daily goals to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met
- Perform quality inspections throughout production and on finished goods
- Support labeling, packing, and fulfillment of wholesale and retail orders
- Process outbound shipments and coordinate carrier pickups
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to move, stage, and organize products
- Track production, inventory, materials, orders, and shipments while maintaining accurate records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with additional duties and special projects as needed
