Legal Assistant
We are a small, well-established West Houston law firm seeking a full-time legal secretary/legal assistant with at least 3 years of experience representing lenders in commercial real estate loan transactions, who we can rely on to assist attorneys in preparing commercial loan documentation for our lender clients.

You Should Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a legalsecretary/legalassistantin commercial real estate law
- Knowledge of commercial real estate lending,including loan structures, loan documentation, title work,and issue recognition
- Exceptionalability tomultitaskand beaccurateand efficient,and an ability to work with others in a high-volume environment
- Solidverbal and written communication skills, along withattention to detail and proofreading skills, includingtheability to reviewlarge amountsof detailed documents for accuracy
- ProficiencyinWordPerfect, Microsoft Word,and Excel
- Reliable transportation and attendance
Your Will Be Responsible For:
- Preparation of loan documentation for real estate loans for banks
- Reviewing title commitments, surveys,andorganizational documents of corporate entity loan parties
- Communicating with lenders and title companies
- Day-to-dayupkeep withthestatus of files
