Position Summary
Inspection Experts, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) to join our team as a senior technical support leader. This part-time, onsite role will be dedicated to one client location in Arlington, VA. The CIH will be responsible for providing technical support to the customer’s environmental health and industrial hygiene team. Your expertise will ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory guidelines including OSHA, EPA, ACGIH, ASHRAE, ANSI, NFPA, and other industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform indoor-air-quality, exposure (noise, dust, ACM, lead, etc) assessments at customer facilities.
- Conduct review of industrial hygiene reports generated by 3rd party contractor supporting field locations.
- Provide IH technical assistance and training to field level facilities managers and collateral duty safety officers.
- Conduct gap analysis and assist in the development and implementation of EHS programs.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or a related discipline.
- Active Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical industrial hygiene experience.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain federal identification.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Federal government project experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing workloads.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
