InSPArations Full-Service Salon is a community-based small business in Orcutt, California. Owned and operated by local provider, Sheila Gibilisco, our mission is to provide top-tier, personalized services to every client who walks through our doors. Our wide range of services in hair, nails, body work, and skincare make us the ultimate wellness spa.

To further our community mission, InSPArations is looking for a part-time Manager / Spa Coordinator to oversee client and staff engagement via updated business protocols, day-to-day processes, staff management and development, and team-oriented interventions. When on duty, the Spa Coordinator will operate as an on-site receptionist and will report directly to the salon owner to ensure a cohesive brand image and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Facilitate appointment booking, cancellations, and rescheduling requests in our online booking system
- Provide information to clients regarding spa services, packages, and promotions
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate spa treatments based on their needs and preferences
- Accurately process various payment methods including cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and retail displays
- Answer customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Manage phones, emails, business messenger accounts, and all other client communication methods
- Collaborate with the InSPA team to create a positive and relaxing environment
- Facilitate inventory management, including supplier communications, product orders, stocking, and supply tracking
- Create a monthly schedule for all front desk staff
- Oversee all company ads, graphics, photos/videos, social media posts and interactions, and email campaigns along with the InSPA Marketing Team
- Organize weekly 1-on-1 meetings with the Marketing Coordinator to draft and plan media marketing strategies
- Organize monthly Front Desk Staff meetings to engage in company training and ensure cohesive communication measures
- Draft and implement employee documents and expectations
- Cover additional front desk shifts as needed
Qualifications:
- Exemplifies professionalism, skill, and reliability
- Possesses strong communication and customer service skills to build rapport with staff and clients
- Demonstrates strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and appointments effectively
- Available for morning and weekend shifts (some afternoon availability)
- Able to provide 1-2 professional references
- Reflects a strong work ethic and dedication to progress
- Proficiency in English language required
Preferred:
- 2 years of customer service experience
- 1 year(s) of sales experience, preferably in skincare, makeup, or hair care
- 1 year(s) of leadership/management experience
- Local to the Orcutt/Santa Maria area
- Multilingual skills are a plus
