Womenswear Technical Designer

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and understanding of garment construction, fit, and product development to join our growing womenswear team. This is an on-site role based in Los Angeles.

You will be working directly with our apparel design team and product development manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate samples for spec accuracy, garment construction, fit, and overall quality
• Participate in fit sessions while taking detailed fit notes and identifying corrections
• Communicate corrections and fit comments clearly to vendors through diagrams, photos, and email communication
• Manage tech packs within the PLM system and track samples to maintain organization throughout development
• Create technical flat sketches
• Manage multiple deadlines and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 - 5 years of prior work experience in Technical Design
• Experience in womenswear, denim, and outerwear
• Extremely proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, fabrication, washes, printing methods, finishing, and basic grading
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

• Living in LA, within transportation distance to our office in DTLA

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Full-time Salary Range: $71k - $87k (based on experience)
