Corporate Tax Senior Manager

As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of tax-related tasks, including:

• Conduct thorough reviews of federal and state tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individuals, primarily focusing on corporate engagements. This includes reviewing consolidated federal and combined state tax returns.
• Review tax provisions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee the review of estimated tax payments and extensions.
• Conduct and review research on complex tax issues to provide informed recommendations.
• Lead tax engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely execution of tax compliance, planning, and provision projects.
• Mentor and coach junior staff, providing direct and constructive feedback to foster growth and development.
• Manage a team effectively to meet both client needs and internal expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling billing, realization, and collections.
• Develop and implement a strategy for expanding the practice, including networking, acquiring new clients, and growing existing client relationships.
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Taxation.
• CPA or Bar License required.
• 8 years of relevant, recent tax experience.
• Proficiency in reviewing and preparing ASC 740 tax provisions.
