What You'll Do:
- Lead Audit Engagements: Plan, execute, and complete financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations in accordance with US GAAP and GAAS.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and review the work of staff associates, offering constructive feedback and coaching.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary daily point of contact for client accounting leadership, ensuring clear communication, timely updates, and proactive risk resolution.
- Internal Controls & Testing: Evaluate client accounting systems, internal controls, and operational processes to identify risks and efficiency opportunities.
- Reporting & Delivery: Draft complex audit reports, management letters, and financial statement disclosures for Partner review.
What I'm Looking For:
- Experience: 2 years of recent public accounting audit experience (Big 4, national, or regional firm).
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA license or active progress toward passing the CPA exam required.
- Technical Mastery: Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, financial reporting, and audit methodologies.
- Software: Proficiency with modern audit software (e.g., CCH Engagement, CaseWare) and advanced Excel functions.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset.
