This individual will play a pivotal role in transforming our internal research into academic publications, establishing and maintaining academic collaborations, and co-publishing with external researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Insilico Medicine's research teams to synthesize their groundbreaking research into well-structured, high-quality academic papers.
- Identify and establish strategic academic partnerships with external labs to test Insilico Medicine compounds and discover new mechanisms of action.
- Foster strong relationships with external researchers, co-authoring publications, and promoting joint research efforts.
- Continuously monitor the latest developments in biology and related fields, ensuring that Insilico Medicine's research remains at the forefront of scientific discovery.
- Serve as an ambassador for Insilico Medicine within the scientific community, participating in conferences, seminars, and networking events.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmacology, or related discipline).
- Proven track record of publishing research papers in top-tier scientific journals.
- Demonstrated editorial expertise, including experience reviewing, editing, and preparing scientific manuscripts for publication in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
- Deep understanding of biology, with expertise in at least one of the following areas: cell and molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, or drug discovery.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to advancing scientific research and innovation.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining academic collaborations.
