About the position
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced PR Manager to support the development and implementation of strategic PR initiatives to enhance the company's reputation and increase brand awareness. This role will involve scientific content generation, media strategy and pitching, social media management, and event support.
Responsibilities:
1. Scientific Content Generation:
- Develop and curate scientific content, including press releases, articles, and blog posts, to demonstrate Insilico Medicine's expertise in AI-driven drug discovery and development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including scientists and researchers, to gather and translate complex scientific concepts into compelling and accessible content for various audiences.
2. Media Strategy & Pitch:
- Create and execute media strategies to maximize coverage and positive exposure for Insilico Medicine.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and AI industries.
- Proactively pitch story ideas and secure media placements in relevant publications, both print and digital.
3. Event Support:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including healthcare conferences, ISM salon sessions, and CEO interviews.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure seamless execution and representation of Insilico Medicine at these events.
- Provide onsite support during events, including managing media interactions, coordinating interviews, and capturing content for post-event promotion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in PR and communications in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry (necessary).
- Strong scientific background and ability to understand and communicate complex scientific concepts effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in media relations, including pitching, securing media coverage, and building relationships with journalists and influencers.
