Junior Video Editor & Post Operator
Location: Remote [Insignia is based in EST (Atlanta, GA)]
Reports to: Creative Director / Showrunner
Role Summary
You’re the engine behind volume. You’ll use AI tools traditional editing software to turn hours of footage into hundreds of usable clips, rough cuts, and formatted assets. You care about detail, speed, and staying organized.
What You’ll Do
- Ingest and organize footage from live shows, sessions, and shoots.
- Use instincts, experience, and AI tools to:
- Auto-detect key moments (big crowd reactions, emotional lines, hooks).
- Generate initial clip batches for TikTok/Reels/Shorts.
- Auto-caption and format vertical content.
- Clean up and refine AI outputs so they’re on-brand and ready to publish.
- Prep timelines, multi-cam syncs, and selects for the Senior Editor.
- Export and deliver assets with proper naming, versions, and specs.
- Maintain a clean internal library of reusable moments.
What You’ll Bring
- 1–3 years of editing experience (strong portfolio freelance work).
- Competency in Premiere/Final Cut/Resolve and willingness to live inside new AI tools.
- Fast worker, comfortable with repetition and systems.
- Eye for detail: captions, sync, framing, audio levels.
- No ego: comfortable taking direction, iterating fast, and learning.
Bonus Points
- Experience clipping podcasts, livestreams, or sermons.
- Passion for worship/gospel/Christian content.
