Anesthesia Technician – 13-Week Contract
Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Job Type: Contract
Shift: 8-Hour Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)
Pay Range: $1,800–$1,950/week (stipends included)
Tentative Start Date: January 19, 2026
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to support the Anesthesia Department at a leading medical facility. This role is essential in ensuring anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications are prepared, maintained, and available for safe patient care across anesthetizing locations.
Assignment: 7400V Anesthesia GMC – Anesthesia Tech
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and supplies for each anesthetizing location
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of anesthesia equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized anesthesia work environment
- Monitor and replenish anesthesia supply inventory
- Assist with handling and delivery of pharmaceuticals under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Support anesthesia providers before, during, and after procedures
- Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Anesthesia Technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Additional clinical specialty certifications preferred, including but not limited to:
- Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.ATT)
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and sterile practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
