Total Rehab Manager
Job Summary:
Directs the overall operations and assists with long term planning and direction of the department. Is responsible for planning, managing, implementing and evaluating physical, occupational and speech therapy programs/service lines and provides oversight to clinical staff and support personnel. Responsible for assigning duties, staffing, supervising performance of treatments, ordering equipment and supplies necessary to facilitate provision of services. Training of departmental personnel, and the overall organization of the department.

- Participates in strategic planning and setting direction for the department
- Directs the overall operations of the department.
- Monitors budget and assists with preparation of the budget.
- Serves as a liaison with other departments as well as between Patient Care Services, Coordinators, and Staff
- Prepares all performance appraisals for assigned staff; provides performance feedback throughout performance period; completes all necessary employee counseling, educational needs and disciplinary action as required.
- Assists with corporate compliance.
- Participates on committees and represents rehab on a voluntary basis and/or as assigned; attends all in-house meetings as assigned; actively participates in rehab service line quality improvement process
- Responsible for developing plans for program development and implementation of these plans
- Responsible for monitoring staffing levels/productivity.
- Responsible for recruitment, selection of new staff, and staff orientation.
- Develops, reviews and/or revises policies, procedures, forms, etc. relating to rehab services; secures approvals as required and implements as approved; completes special projects as requested
- Responsible for all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree in PT, OT, SLP
Skills: Ability to work on leadership team. Ability to organize own work and work of others. Ability to consider system-wide impact on decisions. Must be able to work cooperatively with others. Must have appropriate clinical and management experience
Years of Experience: 5 years clinical experience
License: Licensed in the State of Michigan PT, OT, SLP
Certification: CPR per hospital policy
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in PT, OT, SLP or related health care administration

Physical Requirements: The ability to move from one office/work area to another. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, bending or reaching. Sitting and/or standing for extended periods.
OSHA Exposure Classification:
Personal Protective Equipment: As required by infection prevention and control policies
