What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatient Pharmacist position at Insight?
Qualifications
All candidates must have has graduated from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy and be registered pharmacists in good standing under the laws of the State of Illinois.
Job Responsibilities
- Entry and/or verification of drug orders into computer
- Supervising technical staff Checking the final product prior to dispensing to patients
- Accepting telephone orders from physicians
- Providing consultation on drug matters to physicians, nurses and other health care personnel as
appropriate - Providing clinical services based on approved protocols
- Supervision and final inspection of packaging or manufacturing processes
- Patient training and counseling
- All activities that a technician may perform
- Other duties as directed by the Director of Pharmacy
- This is an overnight pharmacist position
