- Field Automation Installation Technician
Are you looking for a job in the Oil and Gas Automation Industry? Insight Technical Services, Inc. (ITSI) is a dynamic Oil and Gas based Manufacturing, Field Automation and Services Company. ITSI manufacturers customized automation control equipment specific to the oil and gas upstream industry, as well as providing automation Engineering and Field Automation Services related to our equipment as well as other manufacturer’s automation equipment.
ITSI is looking for a Field Automation Installation Technician. This position is for Northern Colorado Front Range (Weld/Larimer/Boulder, Adams Counties). This position will require some knowledge with most common automation equipment and the ability and desire to learn. Low Voltage Technical and Electricians would be ideal candidates for this job.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Automation installation of multiple types of different equipment
- Wiring, testing and troubleshooting
- Gas meter installation and configuration
- Level Transmitter installation and calibration
- Solar installation and wiring
- Valve Actuator installation and maintenance
- Preventative maintenance
- Uphold all Safety Standards
- Other Solutions related to measurement related problems
- Overtime available and rotating on-call schedule
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic electronic and/or electrical background
- Ability to read schematics
- Experience with automation equipment, meters and plungers
- Experience with actuators and other related automation equipment
- Experience with TotalFlow Measurement Equipment a plus
- Experience with O&G production field automation
- Some knowledge of low voltage dc electricity and electronics
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry
- Working knowledge of all equipment used for calibrations, including gauges, electronic testers, and other equipment.
- Experienced with computers and common programs.
- Must have a good driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
