As a Construction Laborer, you'll engage in hands-on tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components
- Support carpenters, masons, and other trades by handling materials like rebar, drywall, and framing components
- Mix and pour concrete using concrete mixers and concrete pumping equipment; perform finishing work such as smoothing and sealing surfaces, drywall, framing, etc.
- Install rebar, formwork, and other structural elements following safety protocols and specifications
- Perform heavy lifting tasks and operate heavy equipment when necessary, always adhering to safety regulations
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations is essential for maintaining a safe environment
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Experience with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting work is highly desirable
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a team setting
Paid time off after a year of working.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
