What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge - Full Time position at INSIGHT LIVING?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Concierge serves as a welcoming and helpful presence in our community, providing personalized assistance and support to residents and their families. This role involves greeting visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere, logging deliveries, answering phones, taking messages for admin team, patrolling the exterior grounds, light housekeeping and assisting care team with resident needs. The Concierge plays a vital role in enhancing the overall safety and flow of the community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide information and support by serving as a knowledgeable resource for residents and visitors.
- Facilitate reception and security duties during the evening shift.
- Promote resident and staff safety.
- May assist in handling resident requests and resolving issues or escalate to other department members as needed.
- Assist with resident transfers and nightly care, housekeeping, security rounds and reception work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Experience:
- Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service.
- Experience in residential care
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills in English, enabling effective interaction with residents and staff through both verbal and written means.
- Knowledge and understanding of services provided by the Community to ensure well-being and satisfaction.
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities to work with other staff members are in the best interest of the residents.
- Problem-solving abilities to promptly address concerns or complaints, with the ability to quickly pivot from one task to the next.
Salary : $17 - $18
