Opportunity Resource Fund is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support OppFund's executive office operations, own administrative activities for OppFund's Board and its committees, management of the CEO's complex and busy calendar, and supports strategic alignment across the organization.
This is a leadership partner role designed for an Executive Assistant with 5–7 years of experience who is ready to step into a role that involves independent decision making, strong relationships, and collaboration in a matrix model. In this role, the Executive Assistant will offer their perspective, be a thought leader, and contribute meaningfully at the leadership level. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who has organizational savvy, knows how to utilize and maximize resources, and understands board mechanics and Robert's Rules of Order.

Position Summary: The Executive Assistant supports Opportunity Resource Fund's mission by providing full administrative support to the President/CEO and coordinating all activities of the Board of Trustees, Board Committees, and Advisory Councils. The Executive Assistant position requires a high level of attention to detail and an ability to effectively communicate and maintain working relationships with OppFund Board members, clients, vendors, peers, public and private sector organizations, and other stakeholders. This is a pivotal role responsible for enabling the effectiveness of the President/CEO and strengthening executive office operations, governance, and strategic alignment across the organization. This position manages board administration and compliance, leads executive project coordination and communication, oversees key internal priorities, and ensures timely execution of CEO directives.
Compensation & Benefits: $65,000-$78-000 Full-time, Salary, Exempt
Company-paid training, health insurance (including vision and dental), and 403(b) account. Work/life balance with paid time off and generous paid holiday schedule.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Non-profit Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years previous experience working with executive level staff and boards of directors.

Primary Work Location: Hybrid/Remote with regular onsite attendance in OppFund offices as needed. Occasional travel throughout Michigan may be required.
