About the Role
Insight Global is seeking a VP of Fund Operations to join a rapidly growing alternative investment firm in the Greater Philadelphia area. This individual will play a key role in overseeing fund operations, investor services, and supporting new fund launches. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to help scale operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily fund operations, including full-cycle investor onboarding processes
- Manage capital calls, fund distributions, redemptions, transfers, and investor transactions
- Support underlying investment activity including subscriptions, agreements, and AML processes
- Lead and coordinate new fund launches, fund closures, and operational due diligence efforts
- Maintain and improve fund documentation to ensure compliance and operational accuracy
- Conduct operational risk assessments and partner with stakeholders to resolve issues
- Oversee cash management controls and support fund audit processes
- Partner cross-functionally to support overall fund operations strategy and business goals
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in fund operations, investor services, or investment management middle office
- Strong understanding of fund structures, particularly within alternative investments
- Experience managing capital activity (capital calls, distributions, investor onboarding, etc.)
- Strong technical acumen with fund accounting/operational platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
