About the Role
We are hiring a Systems Engineer to support a surge effort for a critical defense program. This role sits on the Test Solutions team, responsible for defining test requirements and designing integrated test systems used across labs, factory environments, and field testing.
This is an applied systems engineering role focused on verification, validation, and production readiness, not purely documentation or modeling.
What You’ll Do
- Define test requirements and system capabilities across the full engineering lifecycle
- Design and integrate test systems, including models, simulations, prototypes, and test beds
- Support hardware integration, factory transitions, and production validation
- Apply established verification and validation (V&V) methodologies
- Identify and manage technical risks, cost drivers, and affordability opportunities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on major development programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
- Experience in systems engineering with a focus on test, verification, or validation
- Ability to develop, decompose, and manage system requirements
- Experience supporting integration, test planning, and V&V activities
- Familiarity with systems engineering tools and methods, such as: DOORS (requirements management), UML / SysML, and Standard test and validation methodologies
- Active DoD Security Clearance
